Born in Ragusa, on 11/28/1958.

Diploma in Science in 1977 at the Liceo Scientifico ‘E. Fermi’ in Ragusa.

Graduated in Medicine on March the 21st, 1985 at the ‘University of Catania’ with full marks and honors, discussing a thesis: ‘Short-and Long-term Prognosis After Surgical Treatment of Chronic Ischemic Heart Disease ‘, Supervisor Prof. Mauro Abbate, Director of Cardiac Surgery, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Catania.

Enabled to the Medical Licensure in 1985, the 1st session of the State Exams.
Member of the College of Physicians of the Province of Ragusa from 06/28/1985 to today with position number 1548.
Medical Assistant at the Division of Cardiac Surgery, University of Catania by resolution of the Board of the Faculty of Medicine from April 1985 until 05/31/1989.

Registered at the School of Specialization in Cardiovascular Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Catania on 03/07/1986 (Academic Year 1985-86).

Since 1998 i have performed surgery of adult heart diseases, especially ischemic and valvular ones.

Since 1990, private consultation activities in the province of Ragusa for the treatment of patients awaiting and recovering from heart surgery.
